When it comes to down to it, I give all credit to my mother, who heavily influenced my being drawn to making pictures. Still to this day, you'll see her with her iPhone or Elph raised up to something interesting to her, which is pretty much everything. So growing up, I was hardly without a camera, photographing anything that was interesting to me, whether it was a person's face or a beetle the size of my big toe.

People have asked me, "Why do you take so many pictures?" I say, "Why not?" Something memorable could happen at any moment! Memories are life stories and reminders of where you've been. Why risk leaving them behind by not documenting any of them?
